EXCITING TIMES AHEAD!

So after my inspirational experience at Drapers Next Generation Academy, I wrote to a few of the speakers...and have had some responses! As well as a meeting with Lily Rice of Lexie Sport to discuss a potential collaboration, I met with Michelle Evatt, head of womenswear design at Ted Baker on Friday. She wrote to me on behalf of Ray and we met at the fantastic Tedquarters in Camden. What a great place! It really is like another world - so cool and Ted-ified.

Michelle is a lovely lady, so helpful and generous with advice. I am looking forward to spending some time with the Ted Baker womenswear design team later this year and have some more contacts and suggestions to follow up in the meantime. Things seem to be moving forward...let's hope this continues :D

Aside from the exciting meetings and experiencing Tedquarters first-hand, a definite highlight of my week has to be going to the wedding at the venue where my fiancée and I will be getting married in just over 3 months!! It is the most beautiful place with intricate architecture and lovely grounds, and it was just a perfect day on Sunday...let's hope it's the same in a few months time!
