TESTIMONIALS
We all had a lovely time. Thank you so much for coming in, it was something different for our residents to get involved in. I also learnt a lot - I didn't realise there was so much to the dancing, I found it really interesting.

I wanted to say how much I loved both the way you lead the dance 'workshop' and the performance afterwards. I actually found the performance very moving, which caught me by surprise! The way you began, with absolute stillness, poise and tenderness, followed by the inclusivity with all the different groups of people across the age range. It just seemed incredibly honest and real, and I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to me eye.

The children had a wonderful time learning Bollywood dance with Jaymini and they were so engaged even with the workshop taking place via Zoom to adhere to Covid restrictions. The children gained an in depth understanding of Indian culture and loved learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali. Jaymini explained the story to the children in a way that was easy for them to understanding and many of the children were keen to continue their learning on Diwali in the classroom as well as at home. We were so impressed with the Bollywood dancing and both the children and adults left with a massive smile on their faces. We couldn't recommend Jaymini enough and we look forward to welcoming her back into school for a face to face workshop.

Thank you for making our daughter Anaiya-Mai’s eight birthday party such a lovely event. She and all of her friends truly enjoyed themselves which was overwhelmingly obvious when they all asked for ‘one more (dance) please' at the end of the party! We were very impressed with Jaymini’s approach, manner and skill which engaged the children for a full hour and a half, with them all trying very hard to dance in their best ‘Bollywood’ style.

Hi Jaymini,
Rick and I just wanted to say thank you so much for all you did in making our wedding so special.
Your solo dance was beautiful and the workshop was just what we wanted. We've had so many people compliment you on how great it was.
It really brought the whole evening together for us. The workshop was just the right amount of time and the dances were simple enough that everyone no matter how good a dancer joined in and had fun.
It completed our wedding and we loved every second.
All the best for the future.

- Colchester County High School for Girls, December 2013
Music brilliant...good structure to the session and right length...having a theme was a great idea...structure of building up dance moves was a good idea
- Little Hands Children's Centre, December 2013
Year 3 have short(er) attention spans but they coped well with learning the different moves and combining in a dance and practising again. They enjoyed the free dance session at the end! Having two contrasting pieces of music to dance to with a break in the middle for the children to watch a professional dance was very good. A very enjoyable morning!

Thank you very much for the extremely well prepared and delivered dance lessons you taught to our Year 4 students on Tuesday. Our children thoroughly enjoyed learning Indian dance and you pitched the routines taught at exactly the right level so it was accessible for all. It's always a pleasure to welcome you into our school and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Your professionalism in all areas from initial contact through to your plenary and cool down at the end of the session, is excellent.

Fantastic...The session was well thought out with a clear structure and the children were fully engaged. The parents thoroughly enjoyed the session and would like to see it again in the future
- Barnardos Children's Centre, Highwoods, November 2013
The children were captivated by the whole session. Content was well pitched for their ability and age; music was well chosen and appropriate; timing was excellent and according to our needs. Structure included warm up, cool down, skills, dance routine; pitched to our needs as Jaymini contacted us prior to the session to ensure it was appropriate. Very successful - no improvement needed!

Dear Jaymini, I would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the children and staff for your workshop and performance. The children loved learning the dance and it was a wonderful way for them to begin to understand another culture. I do hope you will come and see us again

Dear Jaymini, Thank you for coming to our school it was very fun. My favourite part was when we showed the whole school the dance you taught us. The music had a great beat I really got caught up in the rhythm. Your outifit was beautiful especially the bells on your feet. I liked learning the chorus. Your dance was the best dance I've ever seen. Love from Abigail

Dear Jaymini, Thank you so much for coming to work with Class 2 on our India topic this term. I was most impressed by the way you not only prepared such wonderful resources but also managed the teaching in such a mature and imaginative way. You shared your beliefs and practice with the children and brought their learning to life in a way which would have been impossible without you...it was so valuable for them to meet someone with traditions and experiences so different to most of theirs, but to whom they could relate so well
- Bradfield Primary School, December 2006
Dear Jaymini, Thank you so much for coming to visit us as Bradfield School. I loved learning about Divali time in India, I really didn't know that much about India. The clothes you wore were so bright and beautiful I'm so excited about seeing you again, Love from Kayleigh

Dear Jaymini, Thank you for visiting us. My favourite bit was when you showed us your book that you made when you were five years old. I liked the pictures of the gods aswell. My other best bit was the incense stick it smelled very nice. From Charlie
